Your First Visit with Integrity Dental

When you come in for a general dentistry visit, you can expect digital X-rays so that Dr. Cole can check for problems not visible in a visual exam. Dr. Cole will also review your medical history, including any medications you may be taking, and discuss your overall health. This gives us insight into what treatment methods will be most effective for you.

Your regular checkup will also include a complete oral exam, including inspection of your teeth for decay, periodontal assessment for signs of gum disease, and a check of your existing dental work for signs of wear and tear from chewing, clenching, or grinding. Dr. Cole will provide an oral cancer screening to check for areas of concern. Finally, you will receive a thorough professional polishing for a clean, healthy smile.

Most adult patients should visit our general family dental practice once every six months. Children’s dentistry appointment recommendations are the same. However, some patients need to visit our practice every 3-4 months. This lets Dr. Cole keep a close eye on your oral health and catch potential issues before they become bigger dental problems. Should a complication arise and you need treatment, Dr. Cole offers a full spectrum of restorative dentistry procedures to halt the progression of disease and return health.
